Revegetation is the foundation of land reclamation — the process of re-establishing native grasses, forbs, and shrubs on land that has been stripped, compacted, or overrun by invasive species. Our revegetation programs are built around locally sourced native seed mixes matched to your site's specific soil type, elevation, and precipitation zone.

Pricing

Our Process

01

Site Assessment

We evaluate soil composition, drainage patterns, existing vegetation, and weed pressure to identify the right approach for your site.

02

Seed Mix Design

We formulate a custom native seed mix using locally sourced seed matched to your elevation, soil type, and target plant community.

03

Site Preparation

Invasive species are treated and soils scarified or amended as needed to create a favorable seedbed.

04

Seeding & Mulching

Seed is applied via broadcast, drill seeding, or hydroseeding depending on site conditions, then mulched for moisture retention.

05

Monitoring & Follow-Up

We establish monitoring plots and return at 30, 60, and 120 days post-seeding to assess establishment and address any issues.

Common Questions

Most native seed mixes show meaningful germination and establishment within one growing season. Full plant community establishment typically takes 2–3 years.

Yes. Our monitoring program includes weed identification and targeted treatment recommendations. We offer follow-up weed mitigation as an add-on service.

Absolutely. Sloped sites often benefit most from revegetation to prevent erosion. We pair seeding with erosion control measures on grades above 3:1.
